With Skyrim having several editions across both the last generation and current generation of consoles - including the Nintendo Switch and a VR edition - it’s no surprise that even Bethesda couldn’t resist cracking fun about the game’s longevity either. Of course, once Todd Howard had his fun with the misdirection, he did delve into the much more real topic of Fallout 76, making some largely unexpected announcements like the fact that it’ll be an online-focused title. Fans hoping for a new Elder Scrolls announcement, however, will have to make due with the Elder Scrolls Online, Elder Scrolls: Legends, or even the just-announced mobile Elder Scrolls Blades.
