RELATED: Best Breaking Bad Cameos In Better Call Saul, Ranked

Kim Wexler is a smart, resourceful, and complex lawyer who finds herself easily swayed by people who are bad for her, including Jimmy McGill/ Saul Goodman. The six seasons of Better Call Saul saw her interacting with many people with multiple significant storylines, leading to some brilliant quotes by her. Kim is one of the best Better Call Saul characters that isn’t in Breaking Bad, and has some fo the best dialogue in the entire show.

7 Kim Gets Sassy With Jimmy

Season Two, Episode Five - Rebecca

While Kim put up with a lot of aggro from Jimmy over the years and seemed to be the only one fighting his corner a lot of the time, that doesn’t mean she wouldn’t get sassy with him from time to time.

When Jimmy tries to get out of a job he doesn’t like but frames it as a favor to Kim, she wastes no time in calling him out on his underhandedness.

6 Kim Nopes Out

Season One, Episode Seven - Bingo

Kim is a dedicated lawyer who does her best to get every client off the hook, or, failing that, lower their sentance or punishment.

That doesn’t mean she puts up with any crap from her clients, however, as seen in the episode “Bingo” from the first season where she gives up on a client and admits that he’s very clearly guilty.

5 Kim’s Witty One-Liner Advice

Season Two, Episode Eight - Fifi

Kim came out with a lot of witty one-liners throughout the show, but this one was perhaps one of her smoother ones. Speaking during a pitch with a potential new client, she uses this analogy to explain to the client how they need to find the right lawyer for them, even if it isn’t her.

This smooth line convinces them, of course, to hire her, and shows how capable of a professional she is, something that was demonstrated a lot throughout the show.

4 Kim Shows Pride In Her Independence

Season Two, Episode Five - Rebecca

Growing up the way she did, Kim had to learn quickly to stick up for and rely on herself, owing to not having many responsible adult figures in her life. This line to Jimmy is her taking offense at the idea of being saved or rescued by anybody other than herself.

The quote in itself may not be anything too out-there, but it’s the context behind it that makes it such a powerful Kim Wexler quote. Viewers saw how Kim was in a relationship with someone new, but one of the things the Better Call Saul finale left unanswered was how this new boyfriend/ husband compares to Jimmy McGill.

3 Kim Stands Up To Lalo

Season Five, Episode Nine - Bad Choice Road

This episode sees Lalo Salamanca show up at Jimmy and Kim’s house, intimidating the pair of them while asking Saul to tell him what happened out in the desert during the episode “Bagman.” Lalo is a complex psychopathic character, with some viewers believing he’s the Better Call Saul character that should have a spin-off show next.

While Kim is clearly scared for her and her husband’s life and isn’t used to this type of life, she stands up to Lalo here in what is a powerful moment for the character.

2 Kim Tells Jimmy The Truth

Season Six, Episode Nine - Fun and Games

This quote by Kim to Jimmy is an important moment in their relationship, as she finally tells him the truth. Their relationship being toxic is nothing new, the fans had been calling it for years. By this moment in the story, Kim’s relationship with Jimmy appears to be the Better Call Saul character’s biggest mistake in the show.

At this moment, off the back of their friend’s death at the hands of Lalo Salamanca, she finally allows herself to realize something she should have noticed way back, and calls off the toxic relationship with Saul.

1 Kim Tells Chuck A Harsh Truth

Season Two, Episode Nine - Nailed

This quote by Kim Wexler in the ninth episode of Season Two sees her telling Chuck a necessary truth about him and his brother Jimmy’s relationship. Throughout the show, viewers had seen Jimmy dote on his brother Chuck who “suffers” from electromagnetic hypersensitivity.

In return, Chuck constantly derides Jimmy through subtle words and actions. Chuck clearly resents Jimmy being a lawyer, but never tells him straight. Kim acts as the speaker of truth in this scene by giving Chuck a necessary outsider’s perspective on Jimmy. She shows how she’s not only of the best Better Call Saul lawyers but also one of the best people in the show.
