On Dec. 5, Stevens waltzed into the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino and confidently placed a $20,000 bet on the Spartans winning it all. At the time, they were 50-1 to be crowned winners of the college basketball world. Now they’re two games away from making it happen.

If the Spartans do win it all, Stevens will see a $1 million return on his $20,000 bet.

Although there’s still a lot of important basketball to be played between now and April 6, Miller already knows what he’d do with his newfound fortune.

“If I win, I’ll give some bonus money to my employees,” Stevens told ESPN. “I also want to give some money to the [Jerry] Tarkanian Basketball Academy, and the rest I will reinvest in my properties.”

To make this story all the more interesting, Stevens didn’t attend Michigan State — he’s a proud graduate from the University of Michigan.
